NABS Bus Rally and Running Day
This annual event is a “great family day out! More than 20 visiting vehicles with free trips into the local countryside on preserved vehicles and other Heritage Centre attractions open as usual “ says host Nottingham Area Bus Society (NABS).
This popular NABS Bus Rally and Running Day is open on Sunday 16th July between 10am and 4pm at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre (NTHC). The entry price is £5 for adults – and under fifteens, if accompanied can go in for free. On site parking is £2.
NTCH is one of Ruddington’s main visitor attractions. In addition to the vintage buses, it’s a great place for to spend time out – with miniature railways – £1 is charged to ride the mini railway – and model railways.
Also there’s The Heritage Cafe serving hot meals, snacks and drinks. It’s usually open at the weekends from 10am to 4pm (and also on Wednesdays).
The event listing is at NTCH >>HERE<<.
Please note: You are advised to double-check NTHC events for amended details and cafe opening times just beforehand, as activities may be subject to change (for example due to volunteers and/or the weather). Please email nthcevents@gmail.com for more information.
